Ukrainian group BALEX is preparing a new production and logistics complex inside the Bila Tserkva industrial park. The company plans to invest more than fifteen million dollars in the project, which will combine manufacturing, logistics and supply-chain infrastructure.
BALEX is a technology partner for the food industry and produces pressed yeast, fillings, dry mixes, improvers, confectionery coatings and plant-based components. The new complex is expected to strengthen the company’s capacity beyond its existing operations and support export-oriented production.
Industrial parks as a growth platform
The project will be developed on 7.8 hectares and is planned in three stages through 2030. The first stage includes production of fillings, coatings, confectionery masses, plant-based products and logistics infrastructure. Its construction area is planned at more than eleven thousand square meters.
The company’s CEO Stanislav Haidai said BALEX had already expanded during the war by acquiring an unfinished facility and launching production of plant-based cream products near Kharkiv. The Bila Tserkva site is expected to become the next step, including production aimed at export markets.
For Ukraine, the project shows why industrial parks remain important during wartime recovery. They concentrate infrastructure, reduce entry barriers for manufacturers and create conditions for companies to combine production with logistics. If implemented as planned, the BALEX complex will add another example of private investment moving into organized industrial space.
