In January 2022 Ukraine sold the old building of the Poltava plant of chemical engineering with an area of 35.000 m². Also, on the territory, there is a pumping station, shops for processing of metal wastes, final delivery of railway tanks, and others. The old factory sold at auction for a little more than $1 million.
Now the plant for the manufacture of tank-wagons is being equipped in the territory. Ukrainian businessman Serhii Tihipko became the main shareholder.
The renovated production is expected to be profitable for businessmen and states. Because tanks are necessary for the transport of liquid fuels and other bulk goods now. Also, the bought territory is not empty but acquires a new look with modern technologies. This helps Ukraine develop.
