Blue Grapes, Gonobob, Drunk Berry: Ukrainian Organic Blueberries Hit the Market in Malaysia

"Family Garden" has begun supplying organic blueberries to the Malaysian market

According to foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba, the company has been promoting the berry since December 2020. This happened after Family Garden filled out a questionnaire on the foreign ministry's website and became a member of the Council of Exporters and Investors.

“Last week the first two shipments of more than a ton of Family Garden blueberries arrived in Malaysia. By September, lots will be dispatched weekly. Ukrainian blueberries flew to Malaysia, and money flew from Malaysia to Ukraine, which turned into salaries of company employees and taxes to the Ukrainian budget,” wrote Dmytro Kuleba.

Recall that now Ukraine occupies a high position among the largest berry-producing countries in the world. Now in Ukraine, there is a period of a maximum supply of berries for every taste: raspberries, currants, cherries, sweet cherries, blueberries, etc.

“Ukrainian diplomatic missions received a request to find partners and began to work. A month later, the company began to work closely and substantively with the Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia. Diplomats helped with everything from market analysis to validation of potential partners. In April 2021, we organized online negotiations with potential buyers. As a result, the company signed a contract for the supply of the first 5 tons of berries to Malaysia,” the minister said.
