BS's CEO Charles Woodburn met with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As a result of the negotiations, an Agreement on cooperation on the localization of the production of BAE Systems weapons was signed between the Ministry of strategic industries of Ukraine and BAE Systems.
"We highly appreciate when private companies open their offices in our country at such a time. First of all, this is a very important signal of support for our people, Ukrainian citizens," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As part of the agreement, a representative office of BAE Systems is opened in Ukraine, as well as the production of L119, the production of spare parts and a service centre.
As long as Ukraine borders Russia, we must be a state with a powerful military-industrial production. And cooperation with BAE Systems will strengthen our position as a guardian of peace in Europe and the world.
