On July 6, in Sofia, Volodymyr Zelensky and prime minister of Bulgaria Nikolay Denkov signed a declaration on the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine. The document establishes the following provisions:
- Bulgaria supports Ukraine's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance under favourable military-political conditions;
- Bulgaria recognises the vital role of Ukraine in ensuring the security of its territory and NATO countries;
- Bulgaria is ready to provide Ukraine with the necessary support in the post-war reconstruction;
- Bulgaria celebrates Ukraine's victories on the path to NATO membership and declares its intention to help our state implement NATO-compatible measures and standards.
Bulgaria became the 22nd state that signed the Declaration on Euro-Atlantic integration with Ukraine.
