Ukraine has a large number of state control bodies. They have the power to carry out inspections of economic entities within the limits of their competence. In Ukraine, there are 43 supervisory bodies of the type of central authority and regional state administrations. There are also 413 territorial-type monitoring branches.
Planned activities are implemented by the annual plan. The State supervisory body approves the plan for each of the following years no later than 1 December. Annual oversight plans are not subject to change. Exceptions are precedents for changing the name of an organization and for correcting technical errors.
In 2022 the date of each inspection is already known. The plan is available on the official inspection site or the portal of each control body. Depending on the level of risk, the frequency of inspections is determined. Thus, businessmen should expect:
- 1 inspection once a year if the invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/starting-business-in-ukraine/build-an-enterprise/" rel="dofollow">enterprise is at high risk;
- 1 audit in 3 years if the organization has a moderate risk;
- 1 test every 5 years if the risk is low.
In 2022, 32 supervisory authorities are preparing to carry out scheduled inspections. For example, a fiscal inspection will inspect 6.756 companies located in Ukraine.
The requirements and verification criteria have not changed for the current year. Therefore, by carrying out transparent, legal activities, each business can overcome verification.
