The association of metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine announced the need to replace the duty with a tariff quota

During his presidency in the United States, Donald Trump introduced a 25% duty on imports of all types of steel products in March 2018. The argument for this decision was the protection of US national security. Today, 34 states have already removed from the list of states liable to pay the “Trump” fee.

The statement of Ukrmetallurgprom conveyed the statement of Joe Biden and Anthony Blinken about their intention to support Ukraine in the process of stabilizing its economic sector.
