Cate Blanchett Produced a Film About the War Against Ukraine

This week was released the 47 minutes film about Kharkiv "Life Under Attack"

Life Under Attack is a documentary film about life in Kharkiv during the war, which the Russian Federation began on February 24, 2022. The film was written by actress and United Nations goodwill ambassador Cate Blanchett. Former Channel 4 News editor Benjamin de Pir became an assistant actress. Together they created a documentary about Kharkiv and the region. For 47 minutes, the city and its people are shown during the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In addition, the film features the main characters — firefighter Roman and paramedics Tatiana and Irina. These are real people who have worked in a combat zone, most often in the epicenter of events.

"This is what the lives of those caught in the crossfire of Putin's war against Ukraine look like," says the film's trailer.

The film was voiced by Cate Blanchett herself. She told the story of the battle for the city in 47 minutes. Documentary Ukraine: Life Under Attack is already available to the whole world. It is available on the website of the channel Channel 4 Plus. 

Kharkiv is still in danger and is daily subjected to missile attacks from Russia.
