Charity Platform “United24” Raised $25 Mln Per Week

Created on the initiative of president Zelenskyy, in a week of work has collected a quarter of a billion dollars and cryptocurrencies from 72 countries

On May 5, the presidential charity platform United24 was launched, aimed at 3 areas of assistance: reconstruction, defense and demining, and medical care. In less than 8 days of its work, the platform raised $25 million, and 72 countries joined the donations.

"In addition, $735.673 were raised through the Ukraine House partnership fund. And another $362.379 came in cryptocurrency through the payment company Whitepay. They will come to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine shortly ", minister of digital transformation Mikhailo Fedorov.

The largest donations to Ukraine came from the United States, Great Britain, France, Canada, Germany and, of course, Ukraine.

The success of United24 is partly due to the fact that it was created by the president, and the main person in the country is personally responsible for every penny donated. Zelenskyy's authority on the world stage played a role.

In the first week, the funds were accumulated in the accounts of the NBU and will now be distributed as intended. Deloitte Ukraine will monitor the reports of ministries and the NBU on revenues and expenditures.
