In the conditions of a brutal war, most politicians do not announce their visits for security reasons. And the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, recorded a video from the train and said that he is on the way to Kyiv. Michel plans to meet with the president, prime minister and parliamentarians of Ukraine.
"On my way to Kyiv. Ukrainians are fighting for their land, for the future of their children. But they are also fighting for our common European values of peace and prosperity. They need and deserve our support," Charles Michel.
Yesterday in Kyiv was Canadian defence minister Anita Anand, and Boris Johnson plans to visit Ukraine in the coming months.
