Collaboration of Polish Fashion and Ukrainian Folk Artist

Polish brand "Medicine" created clothes using the drawings of the Ukrainian "naive" painter Maria Prymachenko

Medicine creates clothes in collaboration with local artists, has gone beyond the country's borders. The first and so far the only association of Medicine was a collection of clothes with drawings by unique Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko. The brand created T-shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, shoppers, and socks with reproductions of Prymachenko's paintings. This collection tells about Ukrainian art and has a connection with folklore. The cost of things is from $11 to $50. Similar to Prymachenko's paintings, the clothes are colourful, quite bright, and unusual. The collection is designed for both women and males.

Representatives of brands note that the paintings of the Ukrainian artist were appreciated at all times and not only at home. Prymachenko created in her own "naive art" style since childhood, and in 1936 was already known worldwide. Pablo Picasso himself highly appreciated the work of his Ukrainian colleague. Modern Ukraine adores Prymachenko's paintings and honours the story the painter added to Ukrainian art.

Everyone can buy things from the Medicine collection at any brand store or website.
