According to the Lviv City state administration, the foundation of Sparrow Park Lviv was laid in the Syhnivka district, Western Ukraine.
The city authorities, the initiators of the party and investors from Ukraine and abroad take part in the project. The total area of the park is 18.8242 hectares.
The functional purpose of the industrial park:
- Mechanical engineering and metalworking;
- Logistics;
- Light industry;
- Food Industry;
- Processing industry;
- Woodworking;
- Typographic industry.
The idea of creating Sparrow Park Lviv was born in connection with the need to ensure economic development and increase the competitiveness of the city of Lviv and the region, intensification of business activity, increase employment and development of modern production and logistics infrastructure.
It is estimated that $12 million is needed for the infrastructure of the Sparrow Park Lviv industrial park, and more than $570 million for investment in the construction of facilities. SPL will open about 1,000 places for the region's residents.
Today, the Lviv region has the largest number of registered industrial parks — 9 out of 49 across the country.
