Ukraine has added API integration to the electronic notification system for cosmetic products. Manufacturers and importers can now transfer product data from their internal databases directly into the user cabinet, rather than filling in each product card manually.
What changed for business
The update is especially important for companies with large assortments. Instead of repetitive manual entry, responsible persons can automate the transfer of product information, reduce technical errors and make regulatory work more predictable.
The system already includes 696 responsible persons, more than 10 thousand cosmetic products, and a mixed product base: about 24% Ukrainian-made products and 76% imported products. This makes the platform an increasingly important regulatory dataset for the cosmetics market.
Why the data matters
Electronic notification centralizes information about cosmetic products. Over time, these records may also help medical professionals when they need quick access to product information in cases of unwanted reactions or consumer safety issues.
To use the API, a manufacturer or importer must receive an access token generated by the system. The token can be obtained by the responsible manager or by employees who have been granted the relevant API configuration permissions.
Digital regulation
For the market, the change is a small but practical step toward digital regulatory infrastructure. It reduces the burden on compliant businesses, improves data quality and supports a more transparent cosmetics market in Ukraine.
