Information about this was posted by the Ministry of Finance on its official social resources.
“A set of food products, non-food products and services, sufficient to ensure the normal functioning of the human body, to meet basic social and cultural needs is called the subsistence minimum. Every year, the cost of this social standard is updated, the list of goods and services changes taking into account the current actual needs of the population. Therefore, the Ministry of digital transformation proposes to expand it”, — the Ministry says.
Representatives of the Ministry of digital transformation believe that mobile communications and access to the internet are the basic needs of a modern person, since they not only save time and money but also provide such opportunities:
- urgently call an ambulance and the police
- study online
- work remotely
- plan a vacation and buy tickets
- appeal to the government
- not to lose a citizen's passport using an electronic document
The Ministry of DT has already submitted its Resolution for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada through the Digital transformation committee.
