Ukraine and Croatian manufacturer DOK-ING signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation focused on humanitarian demining and industrial localization. The agreement formalizes cooperation that has been developing since 2022 and shifts it toward a longer-term operational model.
According to official communication, the partnership covers market development for mine action, support for Ukrainian operators, specialist training, and wider deployment of robotic solutions. A separate emphasis is placed on forest demining, fire-risk management, and environmental safety in contaminated areas.
Why localization matters for the market
- Faster service and repair cycles for active demining fleets in Ukraine.
- Step-by-step local component production and technical know-how transfer.
- New jobs and stronger industrial capacity tied to reconstruction priorities.
Officials noted that dozens of DOK-ING machines are already operating with Ukrainian services and defense structures. For investors, this signals practical industrial anchoring: from equipment supply toward embedded production and long-term technology partnership.
