The convention on the procedure of joint transit has entered into force. Now for foreign trade, Ukraine needs to issue only one document, which simplifies the passage of cars from the customs office of departure to the customs office of arrival. Under the visa-free regime, goods are already being transferred both to and from Ukraine.
"The provisions of the convention on the procedure for joint transit have entered into force, and business has opened the possibility of the international movement of goods with 35 other participating countries on one transit document," the press service of the ministry of finance reported.
Germany became the first importing country for Ukraine under the adopted document. On October 1, the day of the entry into force of the visa-free regime, the declaration was drawn up. Customs officials already see the document in the electronic transit system NCTS and are waiting for the arrival of the truck for a simplified pass to the territory of Ukraine. The single transit document was created for the export of goods from Ukraine. The truck goes through Poland to Germany. The ministry also reports that the transit system has other Ukrainian cargo that is waiting to appear in the program and be delivered to the destination. It is noted that this is more than one party to the convention.
