On the eve of the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainians did not live in fear. Ukraine believes in victory and peace in every way and supports Kyiv to make it true. Here are the main events from 23 to 24 February that prove this.

Deputy defense minister Hanna Maliar made a public statement in which she named 10 major victories of Ukraine against the enemy. According to the politician the biggest victory of the army of Ukraine – was the successful defense of the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions and the return of Snake island. Also during the year, the Ukrainians managed not to be afraid of the Kremlin, sunk the missile cruiser Moscow, liberate Kherson, destroy the logistics of the occupiers, and do not release the occupiers behind the hotline in the east of the country.

Within the framework of the international format, Ukraine was discussed several times in 365 day. The UN General Assembly meeting began in New York. 193 countries-representatives of the organization will consider and vote for the Ukrainian Formula of Peace.

The Council of Europe has issued a document condemning the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. According to the statement, the Council of Europe is ready to provide unwavering support to ensure the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

In addition, on Thursday, the G7 was stated by the Finance Ministers. The document indicates that G7 will increase financial support to Ukraine for 2023. Thus, Kyiv will receive $39 billion for maintaining the country’s functioning and defense, instead of $32 billion.

In addition, NATO reported that arms deliveries to Ukraine are not sufficient.

"Western ammunition supplies are not sufficient at the current level, as their use is much more intensive. The only way to maintain our support for Ukraine is to do what we have begun to do now, namely to engage with the defense industry to ensure that the allies sign long-term contracts," said the secretary general of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg.

He was joined by British prime minister Rishi Sunak, stating the need for long-term support for Ukraine and an excellent prospect of joining NATO.

The day before the anniversary of the tragic war ended with the announcement of a press conference by the president of Ukraine. On February 24 Volodymyr Zelenskyy will host the event February. Year of Indestructibility.

And while the armed forces of Ukraine did not allow the occupiers to rest on the Ukrainian territory, the president thanked everyone for the struggle.

"I want to address the armed forces of Ukraine. Stand firm! You are all we have. You are all that protects our state. Glory to Ukraine!" said Zelenskyy.
