As part of the press conference Zuzana Сaputova, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Petr Pavel, the presidents, announced some agreements that will unite our countries from now on.
First, the military sphere. Ukraine and Chezia have decided to jointly produce ammunition for weapons used in Ukraine and repair heavy equipment. President Pavel also confirmed its readiness to train Ukrainian soldiers in military affairs at its military bases.
Pavel commented on the upcoming NATO summit and said that "Ukraine deserved membership in the Alliance and the EU." And we agree with him.
The result of the tripartite negotiations was the signing of a declaration on the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and infrastructure (including energy).
"I believe that one of the main conclusions from our conversation today should be the conclusion that there cannot be any "defence taboos" in security assistance to Ukraine. Every artificial defence restriction for Ukraine is just another terrorist opportunity for the Russian Federation. And it is absolutely fair to provide our soldiers with everything necessary to protect the most important thing — life," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
