Today, on the platform of the Summit of the European Union political community, negotiations were held between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis. The parties signed a joint declaration on Romania's support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. It is worth considering this decision as one of the steps towards the upcoming summit of the Atlantic Alliance in Vilnius.
Zelenskyy and Iohannis discussed Romania's decisions to protect Ukraine from Russian aggression and bilateral cooperation between the two European states. According to Zelenskyy, the topic of the talks was also the Peace formula "as a basis for ensuring lasting, just peace on the continent and restoring the world order."
The president thanked his Romanian colleague for assisting Ukraine in this difficult period for our country and people.
