On April 4, Ukraine's government changed the state humanitarian demining mechanism. From now on, private enterprises can send for consideration their projects for the production of development equipment. The mining level in Ukraine is a huge problem, the solving which will take years. However, this is also a chance for domestic specialised equipment manufacturers to realise themselves.
The Ministry of strategic industries will be responsible for implementing the demining project. At the same time, the State Service for Emergency Situations, the Ministry of defence of Ukraine, private Ukrainian companies and more than 30 international partners are engaged in demining. It is worth noting that any new production means new jobs not only for the owners of the technology but also for those who will implement it.
