Kyiv, Ukraine—The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine announced that Denmark and Luxembourg have joined the Platform of Donors of Ukraine, enhancing international support for the country's recovery and development. Denmark joins as a provisional member, and Luxembourg participates as an observer.
In a communiqué issued by the Platform's steering committee after its 11th meeting, the members stated:
"We welcomed Denmark, which has just joined the Platform as a provisional member, and Luxembourg, which has joined as an observer."
The Platform of Donors of Ukraine was established to coordinate international financial assistance for Ukraine's reconstruction and economic development. According to information on the Platform's website, permanent members include the co-chairs—Ukraine, the United States, and the European Union—as well as Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom. With Denmark's recent addition in October, the list of provisional members now comprises South Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Ukraine Refutes Claims of Willingness to Make Concessions
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has issued a statement rejecting manipulative narratives circulated in some foreign media outlets. These reports suggested that Ukraine is prepared to make concessions to the aggressor nation at the expense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Ministry emphasized:
"Such concessions are inadmissible."
Ukraine reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its territorial integrity and sovereignty, stressing that any reports implying otherwise are unfounded and misleading.
