On April 10, in Odesa was held a briefing by the heads of MoDy of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov and Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen. Minister Poulsen said that 2 months ago Denmark signed a contract with Germany for the supply of 100 Leopard-1 units for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We will start delivering Leopard tanks to Ukraine by summer. And I hope, looking half a year ahead, that about 100 Leopard-1 tanks can be transferred. This would be a significant help for the Ukrainian army in the fight for freedom," Troels Lund Poulsen.
Regarding the Leopard-2, Poulsen said there are not many of them in Denmark, but "other ways of providing them" can be discussed.
Today, Ukrainian servicemen are being trained in Denmark to work with Caesar self-propelled guns. The installations themselves will arrive in Ukraine in May.
We remind you that repair work on T-64 tanks has begun in Poland. Perhaps it will be possible to repair Leopards there.
