Ukraine is moving port truck-control procedures to automatic data exchange through the DocPort logistics platform. The new cooperation framework between the port administration and the border service is designed to replace manual submission of checkpoint information with structured digital transfer.
What changes in practice
Under the signed information-cooperation agreement, data on commercial truck entry and exit at port checkpoints is transmitted automatically to the relevant authority. This reduces operator-side paperwork, lowers the risk of manual mismatch, and speeds up lane processing at busy gates.
Operational impact for logistics
- Faster checkpoint throughput for cargo vehicles.
- More predictable control cycle for carriers and terminal operators.
- Higher traceability of movement events in one digital contour.
For market participants, the main value is process stability: fewer handovers, shorter administrative loops, and clearer timing in port-connected supply chains.
