DTEK received a grant from the Norwegian agency Norad to prepare construction of the Poltava wind power plant with capacity of 650 MW.
The project is expected to become the largest wind power plant in Ukraine and a key element of energy resilience.
The grant of 5.5 million Norwegian kroner, about 487 thousand euros, will finance geological and engineering surveys and project documentation.
DTEK said the project will support decentralization of the energy system and closer integration with EU standards.
The company noted that this funding is part of a broader Norway package of 8 million euros for investments in renewable energy and other strategic sectors.
