This will simplify the process of doing business on eBay for sellers and allow them to offer more payment methods for buyers, according to the press service of Ukrposhta, which is the main delivery channel for goods sold on eBay from Ukraine. The official partner of eBay in Ukraine will be a payment system Payoneer.
The marketplace began transitioning to Managed Payments in September 2018, connecting a group of sellers from the United States to the new payment method. Later, it also became available to sellers in Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Italy, and Spain. In 2021, Managed Payments plans to roll out to other countries around the world.
"We continue to launch new payment methods around the world and are excited to offer Ukrainian sellers an improved system for doing business on eBay," commented Alyssa Cartwright, vice president of the Managed Payments group at eBay.
