ELF-K is a strike unmanned aircraft designed for a wider mission set than an air interceptor. In the Elfsystems battlefield-assets materials, the UAV is presented as a platform for engaging enemy personnel, lightly armored vehicles, electronic warfare systems and logistics centers.
The aircraft keeps the flying-wing layout seen across the ELF family, but its role is different from ELF-P. Instead of racing toward airborne targets, ELF-K is built to carry a larger warhead over a longer distance and strike selected ground objectives with controlled accuracy.
Range and payload
The stated maximum speed is 160 kilometers per hour, while cruising speed is 85 kilometers per hour. Flight time reaches 65 minutes, and the operational range is up to 120 kilometers. For a strike UAV, that combination matters because the platform can work deeper in the tactical area rather than staying near the front line.
The warhead is a fragmentation high-explosive type with a weight of 2,500 grams. That is heavier than the interceptor configuration and matches the different purpose of the aircraft: ELF-K is intended to defeat ground targets rather than only close the distance to an aerial object.
Navigation under jamming
ELF-K uses RTK navigation based on proprietary beacons. This reduces dependence on satellite navigation and helps the aircraft continue its route when GPS is jammed. For a strike system, preserving navigation through an electronic warfare zone can be decisive for mission reliability.
The listed targeting accuracy is 5 meters. Together with automatic target acquisition and guidance, this points to a platform where range, payload and predictability are treated as one system rather than separate specifications.
Composite airframe and launch system
The airframe is made from composite fiberglass. That choice helps keep weight under control while maintaining the stiffness needed for a flying-wing UAV carrying a combat payload over a long route.
Launch is performed by an automatic pneumatic system, and power comes from a 6s3p battery configuration. The result is a specialized strike drone that fits a broader trend in defense technology: small unmanned systems are becoming purpose-built tools for precise missions, with navigation resilience and automated guidance becoming as important as the airframe itself.
