In general, the national nuclear power generation company Energoatom produced 54,2% of the total electricity volume in Ukraine in the first half of the year.
“In the first half of the year, the company reduced the time for scheduled preventive maintenance at NPPs by almost 75 days. Thanks to this, the nuclear power plants generated an additional 1,6 billion kWh of electricity,” the message says.
The volume of financing of capital expenditures for the reporting period increased by 40,2% compared to the first half of the last month and amounted to UAH 5,1 billion (UAH 3,66 billion in six last year)
The company also shared the good news about the reduction in time for two ongoing unscheduled repairs compared to 2020. If earlier six unscheduled modernization were carried out with a total duration of 104 days, now the company has made three modernizations lasting no more than three days.
Earlier, Energoatom announced an increase in licensed personnel by 11 people. Now the company has 420 employees.
