Estonian Investments in Ukraine

On May 17, during a meeting with the minister of entrepreneurship and IT of Estonia, were discussed foreign investments in the reconstruction/development of business in the Zhytomyr region 

Today, the deputy speaker of the parliament of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kornienko, the chairman of the Zhytomyr regional organization Arsenii Pushkarenko, and the minister of entrepreneurship and Information Technologies of Estonia, Andres Sutt met.

"First of all, I want to say that we are grateful to Estonia for all the help you are giving in these difficult times. Military and financial assistance to our displaced persons. And we will be grateful for the cooperation, it will definitely benefit the development of Ukraine. The key values ​​that unite us with Europe are the free market, entrepreneurship and liberalism. We must create conditions for creating a strong middle class," Oleksandr Kornienko said.

Pushkarenko stressed that the Ukrainian side is waiting for instructions from the Estonian side and is ready to start studying the issue of the number of resources to restore the region's infrastructure.

"We are waiting for decisions from your government and executive bodies on the mechanisms and implementation of financing facilities. This will allow us to move to the second stage  — preparing projects and examinations and budget documentation to understand how much we need to accumulate resources to reconstruct facilities," Kornienko.

Representatives of the Ukrainian parliament noted that they are interested in providing full information and support on investments in the Zhytomyr region.

"We are ready to continue to provide industry information and are waiting for you to visit to get acquainted with specific business and investment opportunities that may be of interest to you and your businessmen," Arsenii Pushkarenko.

Andres Sutt, in turn, replied that he would be happy to consider any proposal concerning business and reconstruction and development of Ukraine.
