For the second time, Estonian tech investor Specialist VC is launching a fund to support the development of investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/startups/" rel="dofollow">startups from promising countries around the world. Startups from Ukraine, which will operate in Finland and the Baltic States, also have the opportunity to invest in their developments.
"Our investor base consists of many select tech entrepreneurs who are willing to invest their experience in supporting other founders on their journey. The region has successfully produced internationally recognized tech leaders, with Estonian startups alone raising close to €1 billion of funding in 2021. This year is going to be another record one with more than € 0.8 billion of funding announced in just six weeks" Riivo Anton, founding partner of Specialist VC.
Investments from Specialist VC have already helped develop 45 companies, including such well-known companies as Bolt and Veriff, Starship, COMODULE, Monese, and NFTPort.
