European Union Allocates €65 Bln to Ukraine   

€50 bln for urgent budget requests and €15 bln for migrant assistance

On June 21, a 2-day international business conference Ukraine Recovery started in London. More than 1.000 participants: leaders of states and international alliances, individuals and investors. During her speech, Ursula von der Leyen said that Ukraine will receive long-term aid of €50 billion over 4 years.

"We propose a facility for Ukraine for the next 4 years of up to €50 bn. To provide predictable finance to Ukraine on its EU path, together with global partners and the private sector. On migration, we support external border protection and economic development of our partners with €15 bn," Ursula von der Leyen.

It is expected that the funds will be allocated in the form of soft loans and guarantees.
