Trade relations between Ukraine and Turkey have long been established and are only getting stronger from year to year. While the foundation of business relations between Ukraine and Senegal was only laid with a visit by the minister of Foreign affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
On October 3, Kuleba met with Senegalese foreign minister Aïssata Tall Sall. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways of interaction between states in the digital sphere, agriculture, and tourism, as well as PDT Macky Sall's commitment to restoring peace in Ukraine.
"Started my Africa tour by meeting my Senegalese counterpart Aïssata Tall Sall in Dakar. Ukraine is keen to open a new chapter of mutually beneficial partnership with Senegal. We discussed boosting cooperation in IT, digitalization, and cybersecurity. Grateful for a warm welcome," Dmytro Kuleba.
On October 4, Dmytro Kuleba held talks with the minister of economy Oulimata Sarr.
"At our meeting today, Senegal's Minister of Economy Oulimata Sarr and I discussed ways to further facilitate trade between Ukraine and Senegal. We also focused on ways to develop cooperation in spheres of digital transformation, IT, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals," MFA of Ukraine.
Also, representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs opened a new branch of commodity cooperation with Turkey. In particular, the state will buy processed protein in Ukraine for the technology sector. The Ministry and the State consumer service of Ukraine continue to work together to eliminate obstacles in the exchange of goods, establish and strengthen Ukrainian exports, and optimize the Ukrainian document flow and guarantees to the standards of partner states.
According to Kuleba, the state is ready to facilitate the entry of private Ukrainian business into the world market, provided that this representative office creates new jobs for Ukrainians and attracts foreign exchange earnings to Ukraine.
