Promising Ukrainian market
Hilton has been interested in the Ukrainian market for at least 10 years and closely monitors its development. There is a great potential demand for branded hotels in Ukraine. The five-star Hilton Kyiv hotel was opened on March 26, 2014 and became the first hotel of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts chain in Ukraine.
Hilton hotel in Odesa
It is reported that on November 5, Hilton signed a franchise agreement with Gefest Group, one of the largest developers in the Odesa region, to build a new hotel on the beach near the famous entertainment district of Arcadia.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development for Hilton, noted that the company sees clear benefits for expanding in Ukraine with two hotels, one of which will join the company's portfolio with Hilton Kyiv. The growing international interest in Odesa and the steady one make Hilton Odesa an important addition to the European Hilton chain.
Hilton Odesa will be located in two buildings. The natural environment inspires the decor of the hotel and its rooms. The interior of the space is designed in neutral sandy shades and textures, reminiscent of the beautiful coast of Odesa. The hotel will have two swimming pools — one indoor and one on the roof, with stunning coastline views. The new hotel will also provide its guests with direct access to the picturesque sandy beaches of Odesa.
Visitors will be able to choose from four restaurants and bars, two of which will be located on the seaside. A conference room with a total area of 800 square meters is planned on one of the hotel floors, including a 300 square meter banquet room, an executive rooftop lounge and a 600 square meter wellness center with a heated pool, gym, beauty salon.
Hilton Odessa will be located within walking distance from the popular resort area of Arcadia with the eponymous beach, an entertainment complex, numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
