First Ukrainian Pavilion at UN СС Conference

Ukraine developed a pavilion for the United Nations conference on climate change

2022 was a breakthrough in Ukraine's history. The country proved its ability to resist a fierce enemy and continued to develop in many spheres of activity. Ukraine continues to take part in international and world conferences. This season Ukraine will first participate in the UN conference on climate issues. Representatives of the country developed a large-scale installation dedicated to the topic under consideration. The concept of the pavilion was developed by the Ukrainian agency Gres Todorchuk together with the architectural office Shape. The project was also supported by the environment Ministry and the United Nations development program, and the EU.

From November 7, the pavilion may be seen in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The conference is over on November 18. Therefore, the Ukrainian project on environmental imperfection preservation and consequences can be seen within 10 days.

Ukraine presented its pavilion in the form of a projectile explosion. Inside there are more than 500 cubes with 16 kinds of Ukrainian land. This is all a reminder of what is happening now in Ukraine of the country's great potential and its importance for the world's stability. Installation divides the world into the future and present. The first block shows what is happening with the piece of the planet — Ukraine, and the consequences of the war on the climate. The second bloc is the future of Ukraine. The authors have shown that even after the war, Ukraine will be able to become one of the guarantors of the UN climate goals.

On November 8, the president of Ukraine remotely took part in the conference and once again reminded the world of the threats that Russia brings not only to the Ukrainian people but also to the very planet, which is on the verge of collapse.
