The Russian military has been kidnapping journalists and mayors for the past two weeks and transporting Ukrainians to Russia. All sources note that residents of Ukraine resist and do not want to leave their homeland.
So, the city council in Mariupol reported on the forced deportation of doctors and pregnant ladies to the territory of Russia. The incident occurred at the beginning of the week. Russian invaders forced people to leave the city maternity hospital Nº2 in Mariupol. No one is allowed into the territory of Ukraine. The occupiers take Ukrainians to the aggressor country.
Earlier, the occupiers took more than 600 people out of Ukraine. All the abducted people also lived in occupied Mariupol and were subjected to total deportation. All 600 people were in city hospital Nº1 at the time of the abduction.
Such actions of the Russian military violate all accepted international norms and rights. This is especially dangerous for pregnant women. Many patients were in the maternity hospital at risk of miscarriage or in the final stages of pregnancy. Any anxiety can harm both the mother and the unborn child.
"What Russia does today violates all possible international human rights. This can be compared with the actions of fascist troops during the Second World War. But we will not leave any Mariupol, which against the force was taken to the territory of Russia. We create a base of deported residents of the city and develop an effective mechanism for returning the countrymen," said the mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boichenko.
