“Free the Leopards”

Some of the Ramstein-8 decisions were unexpected for Ukraine and representatives of other states: Germany did not reach a unanimous opinion on the provision of "Leopard" tanks to Ukraine. Earlier, the European Parliament had urged Germany not to delay the delivery of an armoured self-propelled tracked vehicle. The military supply that will protect dozens of Ukrainian cities seemed close. But there is still no solution.

A few hours after the announcement of the preliminary decision, people started to protest in Germany. Several dozen people came to the office of Olaf Scholz with Ukrainian flags and posters. They called on Germany to approve "Leopard" deliveries to the military front in Ukraine.
