On July 5, in Lugano, Ukraine, presented projects for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. One of the directions is Expansion and integration of logistics with the EU, $160 billion is provided for it. One of the projects in this direction is the construction of a high-speed railway from Kyiv to Warsaw.
It is known that this project was developed even before the war, and the heads of state planned to present it at the level of the European Union. According to the Ministry of the infrastructure of Ukraine, a direct connection between the capitals will reduce the distance from point K to point W to 4 hours. This is highly advantageous for 2 reasons:
- A vast number of Ukrainians live in Poland;
- Cheaper logistics.
We remind you that on June 23, Ukraine and Moldova signed a memorandum on restoring railway communication along the route Berezine (Ukraine) – Basarabeasca (Moldova).
