On 26 August, it was reported that the presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan had held a meeting where they had refused to use the language of the aggressor country.
Each participant in the meeting communicated in his language: Ilham Aliev in Azerbaijani, Qasym Toqayev in Kazakh. The heads of state ruled out any possibility of speaking Russian words.
