Microsoft tech support posted a message stating that Russian Xbox customers no longer have access to console updates.
"Warranty service for consoles, including those officially imported into the Russian Federation, is no longer available due to the current situation. We recommend that owners of consoles contact the store where they were bought," Xbox technical service representative.
However, even when contacting the gadget purchase centre, warranty service cannot be provided since Microsoft no longer cooperates with devices located in Russia. Now Russian console users can only use the good old "turn on-off".
