Winter is coming to Ukraine. According to the state's government, today, there is a need to prepare 200.000 soldiers for the winter. Ukraine's resources are insufficient for this large-scale project, so some NATO countries came to the rescue. Today Germany has joined the project. Spiegel reports that the German government is preparing an €11 million humanitarian aid package that will include 100.000 warm winter clothes, 100 heated tents, hundreds of portable power generators and food containers known as single packs.
We remind you that activists from Finland knitted more than 20.000 pairs of woollen socks for the Ukrainian army.
