Germany to Ukraine: €381 Mln, Arms and Private Investments

On June 21, the state announced the provision of humanitarian assistance and additional equipment for the counter offensive

German foreign minister Annalena Baerbock on the Ukraine Recovery platform, announced the decision to provide Ukraine with a humanitarian package for €381 million. The funds will go "to everything: from generators to food and tents for those who have fled or lost their homes."

"But when we look at long-term reconstruction, there is not enough money. Reconstruction is a collective effort that will only succeed if public and private actors work together. We aim to support German companies with national investment guarantees," Annalena Baerbock.

The minister also said the next Ukraine Recovery summit will be held in Germany. And Germany is already starting to prepare for it: helping Ukraine become a state that meets the parameters of the European Union. This will provide Ukraine with the future for which it is now fighting.

Also, the press service of the German parliament published a list of additional weapons that the state is preparing for transfer to Ukraine:

  • 2 tractors for tanks MAN HX81 + trailers;
  • 1.000 155 mm ammunition;
  • 6 vehicles;
  • Precision Vulcano 155mm.
