Germany Softens Export Requirements for Ukraine

German Ministry of economy to grant export credit guarantees for trade in a simplified manner to support the recovery of Ukraine

Federal minister of economics Robert Habeck said that from now on, the export of goods from Ukraine to Germany will be carried out in accordance with a simplified system. Instead of strictly monitoring export credit guarantees for trade with Ukraine, in the future will be given immediately and on general rules. If the level of risk is within the norm, the Ukrainian side may also not provide bank securities.

Minister Habeck says that this measure will help in the reconstruction of Ukraine, especially for small and medium-sized businesses.

"The simplified procedures that have now been decided will speed up a lot here," Robert Habeck.

This measure will encourage Ukrainian business participants to include Germany in their market. And this, in turn, will create new jobs in Germany, launch new markets, and strengthen the private sector in each country.
