Growing Berries in Ukraine

Fresh, frozen, local and imported

The variety of berries that were grown in this country are of superior quality due to the rich soil, high-quality irrigation, a suitable mild climate, and, of course, modern maintenance techniques. These techniques include drone irrigation/pesticide spraying and high-quality fertilization. By the way, fertilizers are also produced in Ukraine, and not imported from neighboring countries, since livestock breeding is highly developed in Ukraine.

Growing fresh berries is a well-developed business for many Ukrainian farmers. The rich harvests of Ukrainian raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and cherries are supplied with vitamins not only for local demand but also for Japan, Australia, Canada, and European countries that import berries from Ukraine.

Berry is a complex culture in terms of logistics, therefore, the technique of freezing berries is gaining momentum every year. Thus, the most delicious berries from Ukraine end up on the stalls in the form of fresh berries, filling for pies, juices, fruit drinks, and natural additives to ordinary food products like yogurt.

When choosing berries for consumption, one must ensure that they are free of any harmful chemicals.
