The Kyiv city state administration has announced that it has received new humanitarian support from America. The United States sent aid specifically to the capital of Ukraine. Kyiv suffered greatly from the actions of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the first months of the war. The occupiers destroyed everything in their path, including homes, critical infrastructure, and centres for supplying water and heat to civilians. So now the capital is in a dangerous situation with the cold approach.
However, the American allies are concerned and try to help in every way possible. They sent pipes and pipe fittings free of charge to Kyiv to restore damaged objects before the beginning of frosts. Thanks to the American government, 11 km of heating networks damaged by rocket attacks will be repaired in the capital. Kyiv city administration will say that before the heating season will be repaired 7.7 km of central heating networks and about 3.5 km of hot water pipes.
The new pipes will last at least 50 years. The work done will provide hot water and heat in the house 4 districts of the city — more than 20.000 residents.
