Export amounted to $29.9 billion — 30.7% in the first six months of 2021. It is more than in the same period of 2020. Import grew by 29.2% to $31.3 billion. Ukraine exported goods to the EU, China and Turkey. In the first half of the year, export to the EU increased by 45%. Exports to China increased by 42.4% compared to January-June of last year. In the first half of 2021, exports to Turkey increased by 51% compared to the same period a year earlier — $1.79 billion.
What is needed in Ukraine?
Frozen fish is most of all imported to Ukraine — 4.9%. We can also observe an indicator of 4.8%. It belongs to sunflower seeds.
Which industries have increased exports
September 2021, Ukrainian metallurgists increased their pig iron exports by 9.4%. In monetary terms, exports increased by 88.3%.
Also, electricity export almost three times exceeded import — 3.026 million kWh against 1,014 million kWh. At the same time, in October 2021, electricity was not imported to Ukraine from any country.
So if compared Ukrainian trade with the 2020 year, turnover increased to $28.83 billion.
