“H&M” Announces Opening in One More City in Ukraine

Swedish retailer "H&M" will open its first store in Lviv in the fall of 2021

H&M store is going to open in Victoria Gardens  mall, the exact date of opening the company promised to tell later.

H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) is Europe's largest clothing retailer. The company was founded in 1947 and has more than 4,700 stores in 69 countries, including franchises. The number of employees is more than 171,000.

This store will be the third outside of Kyiv and the eighth store of the retailer in Ukraine.

The first H&M store in Ukraine opened in August 2018. In August of this year, H&M opened a two-story store in Odesa in the Riviera Shopping City mall. In March, H&M opened its first store outside of the capital, in Kharkiv's Nikolsky shopping center.

In 2020, Swedish company Hennes & Mauritz AB, the owner of Europe's second largest chain of clothing stores, increased revenue in its Ukrainian stores by 59% in UAH in the third fiscal quarter (June 1 - August 31).
