How Many Air Alerts Did the Ukrainians Survive in 2022

More than 14.870 air alerts, 4-189 per day, more than 3.000 hours in the bomb shelter

On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale military attack on Ukraine. Every time Russia attacks Ukraine from the air, an air warning system is triggered in the cities and calls on Ukrainians to go to the bomb shelter. From February 24 to mid-April, the total duration of air sirens exceeded 500 hours.

From February 24 to December 31, more than 14.870 air raid alerts were sounded: an average of 47 per day, a minimum of 4 alarms, and a maximum of 189.
