Recently, Lithuania has faced a situation of increasing the number of illegal migrants from the territory of Belarus. The document provides assistance to Lithuania in overcoming the consequences of this situation.
The cabinet of ministers of Ukraine must ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to the Republic of Lithuania for the arrangement of its state border. This was reported by the press service of the president's office.
It will be recalled that on Sunday, August 1,289 illegal migrants crossed from Belarus to Lithuania, and by 10 am on Monday, another 109. These are absolute records since the beginning of the migration crisis provoked by the regime of Olexander Lukashenko. This year, almost 4,000 people crossed the Lithuanian border illegally from Belarus. This is tens of times more than in 2020.
