Russian men raped girls brutally, soullessly. After abusing Ukrainians, Russian criminals killed those who had not yet died of pain. Russian soldiers hung the bodies of raped girls and women on trees in villages and forests. This is evidenced by both Ukrainian and foreign official sources.
British newspaper The Guardian published an interview with a Ukrainian Oksana Lytvynenko who lives in Poland. She lives in Warsaw and during the war takes in refugees from Ukraine. About some of its guests, Oksana Lytvynenko was able to tell because it is important to hear in the world.
Lytvynenko received a 70-year-old woman with a daughter and a great-granddaughter. They told about the horrors that Russian occupiers committed in the Kyiv region. In Ukraine, the family had a relative who was one of the first defenders to enter the liberated territories of the Kyiv region. He documented the Russian atrocities.
"He was walking through the woods looking for dead bodies left by the Russians, raised his head and saw these girls... They were all very young. Naked and torn," Oksana Lytvynenko told the British journalists.
The family also noted that Ukrainian women aged 14 and over had been killed and raped. This is not the first time that Russian occupiers have committed such atrocities in Ukraine. Earlier, we reported the rape of a pregnant girl and an 78-year-old pensioner.
