On March 14, talks were held in Kyiv between the prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmuhal and the prime minister of Iceland Katrin Jakobsdottir. According to the PM of Ukraine, the parties discussed Iceland's assistance in a more intensive transition of Ukraine to green technologies. Minister Shmuhal invited business representatives from Iceland to invest in Ukraine's energy sector and focused on this area's prospects.
Today Iceland dominates the Council of Europe. According to Katrin Jakobsdottir, the 4th Council of Europe Summit will be held in May this year. The summit's central theme will be Russia's war against Ukraine, and the sub-theme is president Zelenskyy's peace formula.
