IMF Highlights Ukraine’s Progress

The head of the IMF mission informed the G7 ambassadors about the progress of Ukraine in the framework of stand-by cooperation

"The G7 ambassadors discussed with Ivanna Vladkova Ukraine's progress in implementing the IMF program and were glad to hear about Ukraine's fulfillment of some of the conditions of the stand-by agreement, in particular, steps on the banking sector and the Deposit Guarantee Fund."

As G7 representatives add, they "remain committed to helping Ukraine carry out reforms that, together with the IMF program, will contribute to Ukraine's prosperity."

The mentioned reforms mean the completion of the reform of the judicial reform of Ukraine, the High Council of Justice, as well as the adaptation of the Ukrainian courts to the laws of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

We remind you that the IMF mission began online work in Ukraine on September 21. According to the prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal, the IMF and our country "are at the stage of finalizing the memorandum on the continuation of the program."
